Bandana Boy

I actually saw this bloke whilst looking around the rest of the ground in my sheer boredom on Sunday and saw him having a go at a couple of people and eventually let them past 20/30 seconds later. I wondered what happened and now i know. Im not gunna argue with him. He's a big lad to say the least ...

Sadly there is more than one Bandana Boy at Roots. For a change for the Brighton game my son and I sat in the East Stand towards the back. There wa a similar large specimin who mouthed needless abuse for all of the first half. In the second we moved away - not far enough though we tried but it seems that once you are in one half of the East you are stuck in it.

Cheers DtS,Nice one peeps for all your replys nice to no wernt the only one to witness it,i just didnt want the bloke with the kid to think that I was pressuring him to go that way.

Just thought, who the bloke thought he was tellin people what to do,when they've paid there hard earned cash to get into RH.

Just really is no need for it at all.It should be an enjoyable day out for everyone, not a load of stress and uncomfortable times, watching over your shoulder.

Anyway thanks again for all your replys people lets hope next home game is more enjoyable.

Lets Get Behind They Boys, good luck at derby saturday lets hope we will get more points soon.

CS J...if you read the original post carefully he wasnt 'ranting and raving at the game', rather venting his frustrations at our own supoorters and their kids.
Please stand corrected.

This sounds as if it could be McNasty

Shocking behaviour Kenneth.

We can certainly do without moronic idiots like this.

For someone who so vehemently denies fishing it looks like you've been caught with your hook baited.

Anyways, stewards should be acting against the scum that is Bandana man. he has no place at Roots Hall.

What a c%&t. Moaning at the players, while a nuisance, I can tolerate to a degree, but if you're not going to let people out until the whistle, you're mad. You aren't a steward you know!

I sometimes take my 7 yr old daughter to games. I know not to take her places like south upper or west v because it can get a little fruity, shall we say. I normally take her in the mini blue bit, south lower, but thought I'd treat her last year to the East stand,(she'd never been in there before and wanted to go).
I had exactly the same thing happen, against Southampton.
Went to leave early to beat the crush with me nipper and some tool wouldn't move and said 'where you going?' I ignored him and said 'Scuse mate' again and the p%&*k just stood there.
That didn't work so I told him , in no uncertain terms, to move or he'd get hurt. I'm 6 foot and 15 stone and not easily intimidated. This guy was taller and bigger but obviously all mouth as he then stepped back.
The point is though I regret lowering myself to this kind of behaviour in front of my kid, and I only done it because some fat tw&t thought he owned the place.
At MK last year saw another fan, a grumpy old git, actually hit one of our fans in the back, who was just a kid, and I told him to pack it in.
He's response was that 'he keeps jumping up and down every 5 mins'! FFS, it's a football match. Didn't see the old bloke or the kid for second half so I presume the old git had afters with the lad.
99% of our fans are FANS, regardless of wether they like the squad or not, they are passionate and are entitled to their opinions.
The other 1% are just cocks out for a strut and pose and give it the big 'I am' and always will be present but I for one, f%&king despise them and wish they'd **** off back to the rock they crawled out from.

Some good points made early on, but this thread is starting to go the way of many others recently with fishing and bad language...

I think the 'knuckle draggers at the match' / 'CS J vs Xabia mutual provocationfest' - and the various other matières de la semaine that we have been treated to - have been done to death now...

How about we start looking forward to the next games - and consign last weekend's experience to history?
