Maybe we should also look at the manner in which they arrive at the football ground? Sharp, fashionable suits with real buttonhole or sweats? What's acceptable ... ?

If the pre match mood needs addressing how about we get Geoff/Jeff ? back as the car park arrival announcer?

As the players arrive he would be able to provide a commentary to enhance the feelings of expectation and anticipation as our heroes make their entrance to the battle ground.

'Ladies and Gentleman boys and girls, now give it up for Che Wilson as he pulls in from Victoria Avenue in his Mercedes sport. You will note that the Merc's coachwork is finished in silver, and complimented with a light grey interior.

Che is looking resplendent today in a beautiful white suit, with footwear by Fila. Give him a massive cheer as he fights his way through the stewards to head for the East Blue's yet again, as he still awaits his first chance this term. Never mind, it's Super Cheeeeeee Wiiiiiiiiiiilllllson!!!'

Sounds perfect to me ...
