Just to say I agree 100% with Jonny Stokes. Our CM is the weakest area of our team, and for the purposes of the JPT only, so is our strikeforce. Dave Mooney used to be just awful, now he scores for fun, but Lisbie is injured for the first leg (apparently fit for Roots Hall), McDonald and Azeez are cup tied. Shaun Batt can run around and that is about it.
However, I'd honestly say our wingers and our centre backs are among the best in league 1. Cook, Cox and Moses can rip anyone to shreds. And even though we've just shipped Big Ben Chorley off to Stevenage, he was the 4th best CB on our books, as Matty Baudry and Scott Cuthbert are just a class above with our captain Nathan Clarke also solid.
If you want to score, make sure you win many set pieces and corners. We can't really seem to defend them all that well, especially as our keeper Jamie Jones has the propensity to drop a clanger from a cross.
I reckon we will line up as follows, for those who care:
