Are you doing your "Job" for the Money or for the satisfaction?

I think when you are younger and with the peer pressure and costings of living today if you have kids mortgages etc, you have no choice sometimes..I doubt many, even those that have an easy life like Mk/Ben rearly fulfil there potential. ..For me I can't be arsed anymore.I have travelled that dream ..working 70 hours a week...and earning great money but having no life....This of course is a thing you only learn when you are older and debt free. No point dying and having a million in the bank ....Life is for living...I'd rather live now.

It's all about a Balance in life, as is all things.

do you moonlight as an agony aunt these days, John? :p

The career I am studying for I am not doing it for satisfaction or money. I am doing it because I hope I get lots of hot clients who I get to touch up all day.

Of course I love my job as well..... :thump:

I have the classic satisfaction v money job, I'm paid well but I can't stand my job. Alas I cannot possibly justify moving from what I do as I have a mortgage to pay for so I know I have to do what I do for at least another ten years yet. I have ideas on what I'd like to do independently but at this time I can't take the risk.

I enjoy my job and get paid well, so cannot complain really except that better give me a decent bonus this year and my promotion.
