The Artic Monkeys are just one of about a million bands around nowadays that are over-rated!

Give it a couple of years and most of these bands will have disappeared.

I doubt it, I'm pretty sure the third album is almost written already. It seems that the Arctic Monkeys could keep producing more material at will. For some reason though, you've just reminded me of the Kooks who were massive but have basically disappeared from sight. Further research shows that they're touring the US.

On a sidenote, Bloc Party were absolutely streets ahead in terms of sound engineering last night which was disappointing given that the Manics played. I swear that they must get tapes of every performance and tweak sound settings because every time I see them they get better in that respect. It helps that they give sound depth to their tracks when playing live in a similar way to Coldplay and with a new album out, it looks as though they're going to be around for a while.
