Alex is turning out to be a right worm and ar*ehole crawler...

Didnt like the way he blabbed about what Lucinda told him about not wanting the job.

why not... he really wants it and i think had a valid point that he is competing against someone who isn't quite sure if she wants it and if she is right for it. I respect Lucinda's thinking behind what she said, but Alex did the right thing in capitalising on it and using it as a way to build him up

To be fair to him - even if he really does like to tuck people up the first chance he gets - I think the editing didn't do him any favours. Remember that the boardroom session is said to take place over a couple of hours rather than a condensed ten minutes. It's highly likely that the timing of his comments were out of context. He obviously said what he said, but it probably wasn't as much of an assassination as it looked.


And in closing...

Had dinner with Helene on Saturday night (well, she was on the table next to us)... She was... far better looking than she seems on the telly.

Had dinner with Helene on Saturday night (well, she was on the table next to us). Asked if she had won, and she laughed and said that the final was being filmed today. I asked her if she managed to stab Alex in the back before he stabbed her in the back, and she said that she played fair, but couldn't say the same about Alex. She was a very nice girl, very approachable and far better looking than she seems on the telly. Hope she wins now.

Final has already been filmed, would have been done about ten days ago, and stupid newspaper pretty much revealed the winner last week as well. Ignoring what the paper said, I still really want either of the guys to win it. Helene is only there so they could make the teams even. If I was Alan I would hire Alex or Lee, but then I am a bit biased!!
