Oh dear. Looks like Lee blundered by claiming to have done a 2 year Uni course which turned out to be 4 months. Good episode last night, and my fiver on Helene is surprisingly still alive, although I dont think she will win it now.

Here's hoping Lee can do it!

i think claire has this sawn up. she was the only one who stayed unfazed by the whole thing last night.

That's my take on it. Think it'll be between Claire and Lee though because they'e both better.

I think it's good - I personally think either Lee, Claire or Alex could win but they have to work in their respective teams first and I think on this one Alex and Helene probably have a slightly better chance - a bit more organised and professional and Alex probably is a better presenter than Lee or (annoying voice) Claire

thank god lucinda got fired, totally patronising voice aswell, dont she is cut out for that sort of thing at all.

No surprises last night on who got fired.
Alex is turning out to be a right worm and ar*ehole crawler and the more I see of him the more I am begining to dislike him.
Helene, may be the dark horse here, but I think Lee is now on borrowed time after admitting telling porkies.

Claire has to be a front runner and I also think SAS as a soft spot for her.
Should make interesting viewing next week

i think Claire will win, simply because, why would they show the bit on the interviews last night where she was made to say her exact salary, and no1 else, if they werent going to give her a job? If you see what i mean.

Mind you, even if she doesnt win Brady said she would give her a job anyway, so that seems shes onto a winner anyways!

I said to the Mrs last night, if you were a Southend fan and had got to the interview stage on The Apprentice, would it have been worth getting fired when KB asked "do you have any questions?" as per usual interview etiquette and then going on to ask her "Is it true you fled Roots Hall in tears when certain songs were being sung about your integrity?" :p

Why was Karen Brady looking for respect coz she'd been Managing Director at Birmingham City since she was 22? She wasn't pulled up on only getting that job coz she opened her legs for the boss!

why not... he really wants it and i think had a valid point that he is competing against someone who isn't quite sure if she wants it and if she is right for it. I respect Lucinda's thinking behind what she said, but Alex did the right thing in capitalising on it and using it as a way to build him up

Yes, but what he failed to mention was that during the afternoon, she had a re-think and decided that maybe she was prepared to go through with it. I can't stand him, I think he is a nasty, nasty piece of work.

But she mentioned it to him when they were chatting, and I would have thought that over 11 weeks or so you would have sort of built a bit of a bond with people and shouldnt have to resort to being a *******

It was fairly brave of him to speak up like that, but I noticed none of the others really rushed to back him up, however, I can't help thinking it was sneaky and underhand and that maybe that won't have done him too many favours with SAS.

I'd have thought Lee and Claire have to be the stronger pairing for the final, still feel Lucinda was a better candidate than Helene.

Out of interest, if 3 had have gone last night as intended who do you think would have followed Lucinda out the door based on what we saw?

For me Claire was the strongest interviewee by far, Alex the weakest. Lee messed up big time over his "embellishment" but held his hands up, which is what I like about him. Helene didn't really make an impression other than it was a bit like Michelle Dewberry all over again with a big sob story. This is business! Having a crap upbringing doesn't mean you're a better candidate! So I'd have fired Helene and Alex.

Had dinner with Helene on Saturday night (well, she was on the table next to us). Asked if she had won, and she laughed and said that the final was being filmed today. I asked her if she managed to stab Alex in the back before he stabbed her in the back, and she said that she played fair, but couldn't say the same about Alex. She was a very nice girl, very approachable and far better looking than she seems on the telly. Hope she wins now.

Mrs FS heard the other night that they all started turning on Lucinda after they found out she had been sleeping with one of the production crew (I think it was on 5 Live)
