Another Photography Website - Opinions please.

Thing I always find with music is I have my PC set up so various apps are at certain levels, ie Football Manager is pretty quiet whilst browsers are quite loud so I can watch TVCatchup and use the volume control.

Therefore any site that starts playing videos or music always makes me jump, the Echo website being the worst culprit as it plays videos.

Its a personal thing, others may like the music.

FIND A TRADE is a website for finding work as in you register and any jobs for photographers comes up you pay a small fee and get the chance to quote on said job,kneck wind in.

Any support regarding my mental health was lost since Berrichone started to single me out and use my full name on the site. I know full well it is a wind up given that I have PM'd him asking him to discontinue using my full name in threads on the site. It's a little dig and he knows it. As long as it is good natured I don't mind but being as I don't personally know Berrichone I am not exactly qualified to interpret for him but there really isn't a need to side track here.

Jam, I like the idea of a more basic front page that can introduce the site and what it's about. You're right, the reason behind me posting his name is two fold, one his website address has his name in and he wants to spread the word about his site. This isn't a case of I know something you don't know and this is the person that told me!

I'll take a look at the site again tonight Jam. I think I will definitely remove the music. I'm pretty sure I am limited to what I do but given as he continues to request help I can only try my best on his behalf. Thanks for the advice. Sorry for any disharmony that this thread has caused.

Sorry gregster but your mental health thread went to pot due to you stated as another poster that you were banned(funky kong),i did nothing but offer support and help to yourself and any others that needed it.

I was banned or there was a problem with the system mate. I couldn't access for quite a while, perhaps a month. Then one of the mods/admin sorted it out.

I don't have any problems but why you keep bringing my posts together in an attempt to make me look silly I don't know. Surely, just leave me to post and I will do that myself...:raspberry:

Such a classic SZ Thread. Starts of with an interesting subject that could generate some good feedback for S4E and then quickly descends in to the usual dross.

S4E......My friend is currently in the process of building my Photography web site, I will PM you the link so you and your dad can give me some feedback as well. From what I saw of it, I agree with the early post about it going straight in to a gallery, it looks very clean and non-cluttered, just how a well composed shot should be :) I would like to see some more scapes on there, can never have to many, if he does wedding or portraits, like me he should password protect the clients shots so he can give the password to them after the shots are loaded.

Contact a good printer and explain what you are doing, I did this with a company in London and managed to get a really good deal on the basis of the amount of prints/canvases I would be requesting, make sure you well over estimate to get a good price. If the through put turns out not to be as much then re-negotiate.
