Thanks to all for the comments - As stated Mrs DtS and I are delighted.

Nearer the time I may even have a SZBC Stag do. A crazy night starting at the Ship and ending at the Ship.

I imagine its been a shock to a few of you. Especiailly my Dads long term friends Blue Scorpion and Shrimpfan who have both had me down as a homosexual since the age of about 8 from memory.

Did have a scary moment yesterday. I mentioned to Mrs DtS that I hope the child likes football as would be nice to get a season ticket together and Mrs DtS replied "They might not support Southend - They might support Brighton".

Needless to say she has put firmly in her place on that one.

I reckon Chadded is the ideal contender to take over your 'pub mantle' when he gets back from the 'Ghan. Hopefully he'll have saved enough money for plastic surgery though during his time away.
