Although not yet official, it seems very likely Lee Barnard will be announced as a new signing in the next day or two.

How about, with the help of the Blue Voice, welcoming him on his debut like a hero. Rather than expect the worse, pounce on every mistake and say "I told you so", let's play our part in making him excited, comfortable and confident from the moment he steps on to the pitch. He's local, sources have confirmed how much wants to play for the club - for that alone l say we give this new signing a reception that will get everyone excited.

My only concerns about him were this was the guy who was costing more than the £250k we bid for Fallon.
If we've got him for £75k he's well worth a chance to shine & settle in before people cast their "expert" opinion on him!

I think the "Lee Barnard m'lord Lee Barnard..." is the best. Simple and would catch on quickly.

Part of my thinking though, rather than chants (as these are always hard to make up from our desks), was just a general attitude. Big cheer when his name's read out, even bigger cheer when he first takes to the pitch, that kind of thing...
