Brillant idea

If we play badly we could follow this up with a thread on here stating that given the poor performance of the team the quality of the Discussing from 'TBM' was pretty poor. People from different sides of the ground could complain that they didn't hear TBM until we were 5.0 down . Its easy to moan at that point, where were the moaners when it was still 0.0? The manager could add in the programme notes that 'TBM' was really maing a difference to the atmosphere at matches and the players really appreicated the fans efforts

Excellent!!

The TBM (The Blue Moan... or True Blue Moan.. if you prefer) The noise must be started in the East Stand, and their Discussing should spread across to the South and then the west (Im quite sure the North Stand will join in with us also!!)

And whilst we are all "united" in unison at Discussing, as the sound travels around the stadium we should stand up breifly, then sit down again.... I like to call this a "Mexican Moan" :hilarious:

I think you could probably wave that idea goodbye:smiles:

Sorry, I didn't realise that. Next time I fancy ripping into a lino, i'll make sure I sit in the East Yellows.:winking:

there's a gent somewhere in the West that does nothing else all game. I've never heard him utter a sound that wasn't abusing the lino. can you take him with you?
i can hear him but never see him

I guess everyone is aware that before each game, the East Bank have a meeting and each section has hand-picked indviduals allocated to a role for each match :-

Blue - Wind-up oppo fans
Yellow - Wind-up lino
Red - Wind-up oppo dug-out
Green - Wind-up the odd home player
Black - Wind-up oppo corner-taker

Cokes's hair is a bit strange but I would hesitate to call him odd.
And JW plays No.2 which is evens.

A bit of more luck we could higher in league

All this Discussing at home matches ref Phill B subs choices makes no difference, he has to decide.

If fans won't to booh etc no problem they pay their money and can do.

Better if all get behind team.

I still think we maybe be able get into the playoffs

Crap poem. Doesn't even rhyme.[/QUOTE

Is this what he meant ?

Partisans of the mighty blues, my plea to you please hear
For a deal more approbation, our warriors would seem owed
While our fortune we bemoan, in the search for a higher tier
Should not we draw succour from hitherto benevolence bestowed?

And of those substitutions of which PB is so prone
Does your protest serve to confound ?
When decision is borne by he and he alone
What justice reaped should discord abound?

This plea seeks not to usurp, nor malign, nor displease
Freedom of expression by those who chastise,
Hearts heavy from new-found impecuniosities
Disconsolate demeanour their true allegiance belies

My plea simply proffers, in consensual harmony we unite;
Should lauding our warriors replace scorn and disdain
My conviction endures, with promotion in sight
New heights without limits our warriors could attain

OK - its still a crap poem but hey ho ......

If at the start of the season we were told we would be in touch of the chasing pack going into november i would have been happy , but its very frustrating to know that we should have probably been 4 points better off and with injuries to Hunt Barrett and Weston etc mounting up its going to be hard not to drift away.

Tough cup draw away which could make or break moral going into the away fixture at sheffield united which will be a very tough game and has almost become a must win so as to not be pushed into midtable mediocrity.

Its like what we were saying on the Northampton thread about fans and expectations.

You have a good run and suddenly two draws seem like a massive blow, but we would have been delighted two months ago to know we would be in a nice safe position.

Of course. I'll produce some invites and hand one to him. He can have the seat right at the front so he can have a good old verbal assault at the official. However, i'll also be placing some songsheets and copies of the Laws of the Game 2015/16 on each seat. Obviously, if our friend mentioned above shows a lack of understanding of the offside rule he'll be heckled and moaned at by the rest of the section.

Yes but he put the points on Mohsni's license.
And having been on drinking sessions myself in the past and playing football the next day it doesn't take Stephen Hawking to work out the guy was suffering from a skin full. The guy couldn't run and could hardly breathe. Some things on life you can identify without a lawful investigation.

I doubt very much that Steven Hawking would play football after a night on the lash

A massive blow sounds great to me

No game at this time of the season is a "must win" it's a very long campaign ahead.

i can't tell you how much i love the idea of the bloke who abuses the linesmen being abused by the rest of the fans for his lack of knowledge

When we have used either a box or the halfway lounge,it's so refreshing not listening to some of the fans shouting their garbage,no swearing and sensible debate it was brilliant.

If we had the cash then that is the only way to watch pro football.

I just wanted to say that every time I read the thread title , I can't help thinking of the sitcom Allo Allo !

I'm actually the opposite.

Much prefer being out close to the action and feeling part of the entertainment, rather than watching it through a window.
