Did you fly out from Southend airport on the charter?
I remember that very long day, and sat near Alison and her partner during the match. Although I did a tour I don't remember her there though, but thinking about it, there might have been more than one tour.

Yes I did. The photo I have of Alison, my brother and I was taken by Roger Buxton. We sat near Gabrielle Batistuta’s wife in the ground which was nice 😜
 
For those that haven't seen this photo. No directors box seat. No lounge, suite or executive box for Alison. She just wanted to be treated like a normal fan, and be amongst normal fans.

Work, touring, personal relationships, 3 kids, and moving to Brighton, we were told. Then she had a little spat on here years ago, that may or may not affect her decision to come to the odd game. It was suggested that she put her money into saving the club, which she didn't take kindly to. Also, and this is just my opinion, and nothing that Alison has said, I think it's much harder for celebrities to support football teams, etc, in the flesh, once so many people started taking photo's with their mobiles, and the endless line of people asking for selfies.
