Alex Revell

Delighted for him, think he's an ex Os player, didn't he get his leg broken there as well? Can't abide Evans but Revs is a top bloke.

Rotherham to stay down for selfish reasons. However I work with a few Rotherhams fans who are nice guys. All orient fans are dicks

Not so.A great mate of mine is an O's fan.He also also goes to every Southend game home and away.

Bet he was at Wembley today though.:whistling:

Really pleased for Revs. Seems a great guy and was really underrated here I feel with as usual, sections of our 'fans' not giving him a chance. Fully deserves his crack in the Championship.

Not much of a O's fan if he goes to every Southend game home and away

He's a SUFC fan first and foremost (of course)!

But you'd be suprised how many O's games he's seen over the years.

I've even been with him to Brisbane Road with him a few times (when neither Southend or Fulham were playing naturally).

Yep. I seem to recall him getting booed and heckled off of the pitch by their fans too as he and his broken leg were stretchered off.

Of course the Southend fans had been booing and heckling him too but only up until he got injured.

Remember Revs scored a cracking header against Swindon and ran to the East Stand - his face was a delight and written with relief as he "revelled" in the celebrations.

The memory of Revs that always makes me smile was that Crossbar Challenge....the whole Red Rum Revell thing as he galloped up to take the shot and then I think he hit the crossbar....can't find the clip, only the 2007 one.

Yes, I am sure he hit the crossbar in the Crossbar Challenge which makes me think that his second Wembley goal yesterday was no fluke. It's a shame that so many of our so-called fans were on his back all the time. He gave 100% in all the games I saw him play and, although not a prolific scorer, his runs and his chasing down of opposing players created space and opportunities for his team-mates.

You are right .... but it is about the whole team and if (as one half of a striker pair) the goals aren't going in, then something has to change. He doesn't score that many at Rotherham but others do to balance it out and that just wasn't happening at Southend (if I remember the scenario correctly).

Good luck to Revell he was amazing at the weekend. I'm pleased they beat Borient.
I think Evans has done a fantastic job!

Rotherham have accepted a bid from Cardiff for Revell.

Revell, who joined the Millers in 2011, has been a favourite of manager Steve Evans but, despite his success for the club, has come under fire from a section of fans unhappy at his lack of goals.

Seems their boo boys feel the same as we did.

Not "All". Personally think he is quality and he's done really well for Rotherham for the ability he has. Good at holding the ball up, good feet and scores some decent goals.

Lovely move for him to Cardiff, although Slade is a total clown.
