Alex Revell

He was ace, so under-appreciated by our fans - but we've had a lot of players like that here. If they dont score 10 on their debuts then fans turn on them.

Very few appreciated Revs play and he started to have a really good understanding with Barnard and they complimented each other well. Sure he would have scored into double figures if he had a decent run without injuries, but he is about more than goals and teams at this level would be better with him in them.

He deserves his game at Arsenal!

I bet he was heartbroken when he realised Wilshere was on the bench, all he's done on Twitter recently is pester the lad for his shirt :winking:

revs fell foul of tillys inability to provide the right kind of service/build up play for certain strikers, macdonald, paynter, hooper, revs have all done well at other clubs, good luck to him

He didn't really "miss" it, merely pied a free header right into Cech's grasp instead of hitting the corner.

Indeed, I thought he had a free header with the goal beckoning but hit it straight at Cech, and it would have put us 2-0 up....that's a miss in my book, and one that should be up their with Drewe's miss against Scarbrough and Walkers against Doncaster!

My take is that a goalkeeper can take some credit for two of those three. Walker didn't trouble the keeper.

Fair comment, though equally the other two were straight at keeper, he only needed to ensure he didnt dive out the way of the ball.......

Word is he's back off to League Two before the deadline. Off to Rotherham for 75k.

Been utter s***house since Xmas.

Ahhh... blimey, bit of a blow for the Millers, that. Still, not convinced that Le Fondre is good enough for the Championship; I guess we'll see.

Good luck Alex, but £75k????..Good businees for Orient?...Problem for him is Millers fans will see him as a replacement for their consistently high scoring former marksman!..
