We sound like we are doing all the pressing, and indeed controlling the game in all but scoring. Unfortunately, scoring goals is all that matters and the absence of Murphy and Dennis shows that we are still a way away from being able to compete everywhere on the pitch. Hopefully Rushy can add the missing ingredient, goals.

To be fair that's exactly what he tried to do. He couldn't get his team to score though.

I said in the pre-match thread that this would be a tough match, Aldershot have only conceded 8 in 10 league matches, I think some people are letting their personal biases against MM cloud how bad of a result this would be, we were never going to go unbeaten for the rest of the season.

Just shows again that creativity is what we are lacking and without Dennis the lack of pace makes us easier to defend against, as well as countless deliveries into the box either low and behind the strikers or not clearing the first defender.
