Assume it’s due to cost, but find it odd that the players are travelling on the day. Hardly ideal for optimal performance.

Travelling so far on the day of a game. Crazy. Feel for all the fans who have made the trip.

However, positives is that it gives a bit more time for new players to gel and perhaps get 1 or 2 more through the door before the next game.

Probably part of scaling back costs.

Costs for hotels and rooms for 25 + staff, plus the coach trip, meals etc against a return journey I wouldn't know the cost between.

However may pay the price of being unable to fulfill a fixture from the league who already seem go have an agenda against us.

I see both sides of the coin, not making the game damages the integrity of the league and is 10am the day of the game enough time to allow for a complication such as this to be resolved.

From a blues perspective, using a public service and an issue out of their control meant they would not be late, but werent moving at all.

Player wise, more time to get the new boys gelled in and hopefully a couple more through the door. Could be a blessing in disguise long term.

Can't believe the players didn't travel up to Lancashire yesterday.

Am one for being positive but this smacks of bad decision making. One of the longest journey's of the year and now a midweek game in the depths of winter.

Hardly “tinpot”, loads of clubs go by train. Better for players to move around. If you go by coach you’re still susceptible to traffic problems. Although surprised they didn’t travel yesterday.

Yes, difficult to believe really bearing in mind the distance from Southend to Fylde. This must not happen again.

Extremely poor to have the players take a train up, when they wouldn't even have them arriving in the area for 1:15pm at the earliest...

Hotel the night before... an earlier train and a team lunch somewhere... A coach...
