Podcast / Fanzine Adam Barrett podcast

Really enjoyed this, absolutely fascinating. The interviewer did really well considering most of what was being discussed was before he was born! What a player and character Adam Barrett was/ is. The team Tilson built was unbelievable really, so many good players. As has been said on another thread, attendances also really started to rise in this era. So many of that team were intelligent, committed guys who have gone on to achieve a great deal in their careers. The truth though is that when you assemble such an amazing team the club benefits for decades (!) to come, the good will that is built up really leaves an impression. I mean, Kev and Benno are on the coaching staff now, Adam might be one for the future. I'm hoping that last couple of week's on the pitch we've finally seen the sparks of a serious fightback from this football club. Kev has often stated that once we get momentum we will be difficult to stop.

That comment that Trundle made to Adam at Leeds was very telling about Ron's first financial crisis- 2009/10. Also, I'd forgotten how much he was injured in the Championship season and what a loss that was.

Great job Finn- what a great servant probably one of my all time favourites never left anything out there always thought he get a goal & opposition had to be good to beat him
So sad PB didn’t have the class to end it amicably - you tell that hurt
