Come on people, join in and make some noise!
I sit there - i always try to sing and theres like 20--30 people who do aswell it just seems that people around us dont want too... Its a shame

I know Sam, it is a shame, I keep going all match

I know you can't make people sing but for me part of going to a match is to create an atmosphere.

If only our fans were as vocal at RH as they are away from home!

Who cares about Phil Parkinson? He used to be the manager of a tin pot team up the road. Whoop eee do.

I think he upset a lot of true Southend fans (plus I think Tilson used some of his comments to motivate the team at the back end of last season) with his mad ranting comments from the time we beat them at Layer Rd until the final game of the season. He still never admitted we were the better team despite beating them home & away & being crowned champions.

OK, fair enough, have some belief & fight for your team but even at the end of the season he could have conced we were just that little bit better. From the coverage of their bus trip through a certain north Essex town you would have thought THEY were the champions not us & that's the way he span it through the various media.

The man is a prize t%$$&r & nothing would put a smile on my face than seeing him get the sack. I still don't think the Hull chairman would do this so soon though despite having shelled out so much in compensation for him as well as bringing in a new coaching team (although this does include Murphy & Prudhoe!!!)

It's more than that though, Steve. He publicly denounced Southend United last season and, although we eventually beat his side to the title, the wounds run deep ... apparently ... maybe you missed his wise words whilst touring the globe getting on normal squaddies tits?

Cool, I wasn't around for the end of season excitement, and thus I didn't realise.

Of course, they mentioned on Scorei that a manager had been sacked after 17 games, and Saturday's game was his 17th...

There's still time yet.

I actually think the PIG factor may spring the crowd to life tomorrow.
He behaved like a cretin last year, it would be fitting indeed if he was to get slated by the Roots hall faithfull tomorrow night.

Did he? I must have missed that. What did he say exactly?

I agree with all the sentiments about PP, but consider it is better that he keeps his job as this increases the chance of Hull City filling one of the bottom three relegation slots, thus increasing our chances of survival. That's got to be better than Hull City getting a new manager and climbing towards safety!!!

The only thing I remember him saying was that Col******r's performance against us at Layer Road made us look like a much better side than them when he didn't think that there was actually much between the two sides.

Looking at where both clubs are in the league, the fact that the title race went down to the last game of last season and that the game at Roots Hall could have gone either way until our third went in, some would say that he was right.

For what its worth, Parkinson's very association with Col******r is enough for him to earn my eternal loathing and when he gets sacked from the Hull job I'll have a good long laugh about it, as we all will.

I just don't see the point in going mental about one comment he made after the derby game in March which, to be honest, was bang on.

What about Spencer Prior, who trained with them, Donut, who played and managed them, etc, etc, etc

As a football supporter, I reserve the right to be fickle.

But McDonoughwas rubbish, so doesn't count.

I would raise Sodje who played on loan for them.
