A polite message to the fickle crowd

IANichols

Youth Team
Those that come on here and say sack Tilly, he has no idea, players arent up to it should really take a look at whats happening at West Ham

Up until yday they had lost 8 on the trot, second from bottom in Premiership and had been knocked out of the cup by Chesterfield.

Yet here was a crowd singing there hearts out for the team, singing the managers name and backing him to sort out the situation, as they remember this man had got them promoted 2 years ago and within 90 secs of winning a FA Cup Final.

Look at us, absolutely shameful negative posts by a number of people. Yes we have had a bad run but there is still time to change the siutation. If there was ever a bad time to have a slump in form its now rather than March & April. What Tilly has done ranks higher than what Pardew has done over the last 2 1/2 years IMHO and you lot are so short sighted I'd back Ray Charles over most of you lot in an eye test.

Queue the insults "its freedom of speech", "we are entitled to voice our opinions", fair enough I say but if you want to bury our chances before xmas then you should question yourself.
As much as it pains me to say we should take note of how West Ham fans support there team and manager

We all came into this league knowing we'd be lucky to stay in it, so quite why everyone's so down and shocked about it baffles me...

If we win 2 or 3 upcoming games, we could be mid table?

I agree we need to start showing improvement with our shooting, but give it time guys - and maybe this Carling Cup venture will be the kick-start we need?

It's weird that in that competition, where there's no pressure on the team to do as well, they score goals left right and centre. The more we stress them out and show a lack of support, the worse the league situation will get...

Indeed, with 11,000+ fans in the ground tomorrow night, we should be able to produce a tremendous noise to help the boys get out of this hole...

Don't just sit there waiting for something to happen, help make it happen by using those vocal chords in a positive manner....

Time and time again the players and management ask us to raise the roof, but it never happens....

The one time the roof was raised this season, look what happened, we came from 3-1 down against Norwich, to get a draw with the last kick of the game, surely that tells you something...

So get behind the boys from the off, dont just sit there on your hands, get up and f%&king sing for god sake, you can and will make a difference to proceedings on the pitch....give it a go tomorrow night, you will surprised what a difference some positive noise will make to the boys on the pitch.

We are in this together, we MUST do our bit, starting tomorrow.

Sing up and show some f%&king passion people, I for one want to be in The Championship next year..............dont you??!!..

Couldn't agree more with that

Well said squire.

definitely get behind the lads, we saw in the 2nd half of the leeds game that they really do respond to the crowd... lets make roots hall a fortress tomorrow and really sing out for tilly and the boys

Well said mate - another massive crowd tomorrow night (approx 9000 Shrimpers), so lets get behind the lads and roar them to victory.

A win tomorrow night will take us up the division, and will quite possibly get Parkinson the sack, which after his "comments" at the back end of last season, will be quite satisfiying...

It goes with out saying that tomorrow nights game is a massive test, it would appear that we were unlucky against leeds but played well and tried.
I dont think anyone on here can ask for more.
Lets get behind Tilly and the boys tomorrow and kickstart our season.

Spot on post. Shouting and singing support DOES make a big difference.

Booing and criticising also makes a difference - one the HULL TEAM will appreciate.

It's a no brainer, guys!!!

problem is my fellow sz ers we are already singing our hearts out.....its the others we have to convert.......i sat in the middle of the west for cov game and its like if you start to sing they look at you as if youre mad ! they only sing when we score.......

Good posts, I am sure there will be some apprehension within the ground tomorrow night and the players can sense this - hence we seem to play better away from home at the moment.

Hull is a massive game for us and as supporters the boys really need every single person behind them tomorrow night encouraging/chanting etc.

With our help the team will pull through.

EVERYONE needs to do their bit tomorrow, this is the biggest game of the season so far, we simply MUST win this...

Get behind em people.

We will win if we do, im sure.

I sit in block V of the West Stand and that's the one area that tries to get songs going, me and the people around me sing for most of the match while everyone else sits around in silence. We need those who don't sing to join in and help the atmosphere.

Come on people, join in and make some noise!
