Christmas is very close, but what does it mean to everyone, to me it means:

1) Heading home for a few weeks
2) Meaning I can go to every SUFC game for 4 weeks
3) Go drinking with the people you really enjoy doing so with
4) Its been mentioned, but Christmas films, brilliant...ELF classic
5) Food, food and food
6) That day with the family (its great really)
7) All ages play board games for a couple of days
8) Panto
9) Always having one person to buy for that you have no idea what to get them!!
10) The boxing day fixture (im so glad we are never at home!! Its such a different away game)

I LOVE christmas films! My faves are Home alone 1 and 2 - especially the second one as it is set in New York!
I also love The Snowman - anyone know if this is going to be on tv over xmas?

Hopefully they'll show Wallace and Gromit and also Robbie the Reindeer (sad, I know).

christmas night 2005:
i ended up playing monopoly with my 3 best mates, while drinking.
kind of a tradition of ours. as with anything we do, its all about winning & bragging rights. withing 3 minutes of playing i was convinced one of my friends had stole some of monopoly money, not playing to the rules & moving too many spaces. over the next two hours i was getting more & more wound up. no one would do a deal with me, at a sensible price. eventually i ended up holding the dice hostage for a further hour, until i got a deal for a property. no deal was reached & with that i stood up, threw the board against the wall, pushed over the table, & told my mates to fcuk off out of my flat & dont come back.

didnt speak for 2 weeks, i think i made my point. ha ha.
