I would rather go back to 4000 crowds who all stick together and get behind the blues.

Anyway if you read this Tilly, Brush or the players you have done me proud this season and will wear my shirt with pride tomorrow.
Here, here. Well said Sir

I can understand people's frustrations soon after a match. I have often written posts and not sent them because a few minutes later I have felt they are too radical. Sometimes you are better off having time to think before committing things to paper/keyboard.

Quote[/b] (Mrs P @ April 15 2006,11:05)]I hate getting outsung by away fans - especially pikey's from Gillingham!!
I didn't think that was the case. The only time they made some real noise was when they scored, the rest of the time they tried chanting, all four sides of the ground chanted back. OK, the atmosphere might not have been excellent, but I still thought it was good, particularly in the second half, and I thought the crowd did a good job to lift the team shortly after the goal.
Well, I dunno where you were sitting but I was in the East Blue seats - and all I heard was Gillingham songs attempting to ridicule us for being so quiet!!! I accept that there was the odd song that the whole home support sang but overall I walked out of the ground with my blood boiling cos not only had we lost but they'd been much louder for most of the game!! Although I did chuckle at them singing EASY at the final whistle having defended for 40 minutes of the second half!!

I was sat in the West Stand, obviously much further away from the Gills fans than you were, and I have to say how impressed I was that right from the off people across the whole stand were joining in singing, which has certainly not been the case for much of the season. Yes, it didn't last the whole game, but I felt much more noise was being made by the West than normal.
