Out of interest, should we be expecting the new kit to be ready for the start of pre-season games? (This Saturday 9th)

I recall in the past playing the pre season games in the previous seasons kit, so perhaps it’ll be announced nearer to the start of the season.

Doubt it normally meet the blues day. I would love kits to be available a week before Father’s Day as always buy the old man one. Hopefully the club will change this moving forward but if we can get the on pitch sorted this year I’ll be happy even if as a ST holder I have to queue for my tickets like I did last season

There are a lot of teams across the football league that haven’t yet even some prem teams. It’s to do with when releasing it so funds are for the following season I guess or maybe contractual dates with the supplier for release dates

I heard we were wearing the training kit for the Gills game and both at the MTBD, but I was sure last season we wore the new home kit for the home friendliest so I am going with that option which is inline with what you have mentioned

How about a revolutionary approach?

Why can we not shortlist a few bespoke designs for the 23/24 kit in the early part of the new year, allow the fans to vote for their favorites (using terminals at the turnstiles or inside the ground somewhere to prevent away fans sabotaging it).

We could then announce the winning design towards the end of the season, get it made and sell it throughout the summer and make lots of money for the club when income is lower and a recurring problem.

You know it makes sense, bonnet de douche!
