Seems the EU court ruled that it did not fall under copyright, but that the decision was down to a UK court, can't find anything online about their judgement but I'm guessing they allowed it to count under copyright still.I thought that it was ruled in a court that football fixtures couldn't be protected under copyright laws.
Although best to be safe than sorry and no need to post the whole list when they will be available on the OS & other websites.

So it sounds like it's fair use to publish the fixture lists in full - they don't have copyright. However as Ken says it probably makes sense not to do it.
The Claimants told the Court of Appeal that following the European Court of Justice's decision "CJEU Judgment"). [SUP][4][/SUP][SUP][5][/SUP] They accepted they did not have rights in the Fixture Lists enabling them to charge licence fees for use of their fixture lists - some four years after the case had begun.

All this is nothing new, poor old Wino would have had a breakdown:
FEBRUARY 1936
FIXTURES CANCELLED
Chairman of Southend United in Opposition. - In an effort to combat what they alleged in their resolution was the menace of pool betting, the Football League at a secret and hastily called meeting of clubs in Manchester decided to scrap the remainder of the season’s fixtures and arrange new dates, each being kept secret till the day before the actual match. This unexpected action apparently follows certain conferences between a sub-committee of the Football League and the Pools Promoters Association in which a large sum of money was said to have been mentioned by the latter in exchange for use of the fixture list. This statement was denied.
UNITED RECEIVE ---------
Southend United are at home on Saturday with a 3.30 p.m. kick off but beyond that I cannot add anything as owing to the amazing decision of the League to scrap the remainder of the season’s fixtures, it is not known which will be the opposing team. It should have been Bristol City but now supporters must curb their curiosity until Friday when full details of the opposition will appear.

Saturday 29th February 1936
With the battle between the Football League and the Pools Promoters Association in full swing it was the smaller League clubs who were paying the price, with attendances well down. The fixture against Bristol City had been cancelled and not until Saturday morning was it announced that Aldershot were the opposition but only 4,700 paid at the turnstiles, and there were just over 5,000 present including season ticket holders.
AT LAST
In the face of a growing storm of protest from clubs and the public the decision to scrap all the original fixtures in favour of secret games, not to be divulged until the day before the match was rescinded. Not only was this done but the whole of the previous resolutions as to the pools being a menace to the game were rescinded. It seems that the Football League has eaten its words and never in the history of the game has there been such an instance of precipitated and ill considered action.
