The scary thing here is what it says about cash flow. It's the first week of Feb, and already the club is borrowing from next season.

If I remember correctly in previous years we have had "offers" to get people to pay much earlier than this year.

Biggest problem I see with this is the club are effectively asking fans to buy 2 season tickets in the same season. Like most, when money is really tight, you try and budget throughout the year. I simply don't have the dosh to take advantage of this.

You could ask your boss for next year's money now. That's a bit like what the club (and others) are doing. I'm sure he'd be sympathetic.

It is slowly getting earlier and earlier.
I have bought the last few seaon tickets before the end of the previous season but never as early as march

Wasn't there some promotion a couple of years ago that required people to pay for their tickets by Christmas ?

Yeah there was.

The time in the season that the club stars tying to get season ticket cash in is a fair indication of our cash flow position. So going by that its worse than last year but not as bad as it was maybe three years ago.

It would be interesting to see the position other clubs in our League are taking regarding prices and timing.

Anyone got all morning to look ?

I know I say it every season but I probably won't renew this time. Money is tight, but also I missed a couple of games this season so makes Season Card not such a good deal. Add this to the deals that are occasionally given and it makes SC not such good value.

I agree with you totally, i have missed several games this season due to ill health and am now out of pocket. A season ticket for me equates to 3 matches free which really is not good enough. The added factor is they want a lump sum up front which i am not going to do anymore.

I think that was for one stand and the offer finished back in January. The rest of the ground is about our prices.

Indeed, but that's a proper incentive to buy early and all their stands are comparable in terms of view (it's not like the south lower!).

Not really, anyone who purchased using the 10 month option would have finished paying for it now, had they bought it before the early bird scheme finished around April.

Anyone who purchased it after the early bird scheme finished will invaribly do so again, in which case they will also have finished paying for the previous one before they start paying for the new one.
