Wasn't the French kit nike? I thought that looked really smart the other night. Shame there had to be the French inside them.

Just in case this all gets a bit too much like an overheard conversation from Lundun Fashion Week in which people start to discuss which colour looks best against their complexion, let's remember that the idea is to win games, get promotion and go up a league (or two).

For me, the goalie should always be in green as this camouflages his position (rather than flourescent orange that an opposition player can easily see) ........... and the away kit should be a bright colour to allow players to quickly pick out the position of their team mates.

Id rather a striker seeing a massive goalkeeper in the goal than not see one. Psychologically better for the keeper to be more visible.

I would like to see a collar on a shirt for a change looks better in my opinion

Id like that too.

Im not a fan of wearing football shirts but the one shirt I really like and do wear is the England South Africa shirt. Its more like a polo shirt than a football shirt and does have a collar. Even the current England away kit is nice .

I've just come across this,

Nike Classic IV Game Jersey.

The style is in the UK range but to my knowledge it was not available in navy. This would now prove not to be the case and this could be in the Dutch or Spanish range.

But it would be available to JustSport who supply our kit.

What do we think of this as our new potential home shirt?

Last one with white sleeves didn't prove to be too lucky, much prefer this season's home kit to the one in this pic.

I prefer the 2nd blue one in the original post, and then the same pattern (striped shoulders) in either yellow, white or orange don't mind. Although I think the plain one with the collar could look quite smart too.

They're all much of a muchness really. At the end of the day it's a football kit not London Fashion Week.

White sleeves on home kit is OK, I don't want either round neck or a custard splurge that we had 10+ years ago. For away shirts yellow or/and red are good for me. The home shirts have been good for a few years but getting darker blue when I prefer more of a royal blue.

The retro style shirts really look pants, we dont want to look like our new kit is something out of an oxfam shop !
However the white shirts with grey vertical stripes do look rather cool , as our away shirt maybe ?
