Ayrshire Blue

The Custard Splat
I know there is already a thread on this matter but I didn't want the images to get lost in the pages.

As I've previously said, in my opinion the Nike team wear range this year is really poor, especially for navy blue!

So, below are our options for next years home and away shirts. I've taken into account some people saying they'd like to see the return of the yellow shirt and also the white shirt.

Home options,

As unlikely as it is we could stick with what we have.

Now, I've also heard rumours about us having an orange away kit due to Paul Sturrock's connections to Dundee United. I'm also told that it was PS's wish to have that this year but Tara got us the voltage cherry.

For what it's worth, here's the orange options,

Hopefully that gives you a little more insight into our possible shirts for next season.

Apart from the Blue with V they all look like Jockey colours so perhaps we should start a bet on which one will be chosen.

Seriously, though I would like to keep the Home and Away kits for another season. If that is not possible, then lets revert to Yellow away shirts being the first image of the yellow shirts.

I even like the BANTER biscuit. Easily pleased.

they are all poor!! Nike (teamwear)are really poor how long have with got with Nike??? We need a change becuase they are all the same even the yellow has a black stripe!! where is the blue??

Poor effort!!

Don't understand why they wouldn't be able to make the a yellow design in blue for example, but that seems to be the case for whatever reason.

Out of those the only ones that caught my eye were the orange #2, #3 & #4.

They probably could, for example we could have the yellow shirt with a royal 'v'. But we would need to order a certain amount to make it feasible. If we were to have a bespoke kit we'd have it for at least 2 seasons, which the club are very unlikely to do as they need the money of new shirt sales every year.

I like the very plain blue one (3rd down). Notts Forest have something simular (made by umbro) and it looks really good with a touch of retro.

I would like white away and that to be the 2nd one down.

In all honestly i'd like to see us go Puma. Their kits recently look top draw!

But are a complete nightmare to get stock of.

If the above are our only choices then I would choose:

Away

If we had to go for an orange, I guess the one with the white shoulder section wouldn't look too bad.

Rayleigh Boys currently play in the orange with black V (option a) Very smart looking kit, but not sure if it would be suitable for SUFC.......

Most of them are too plain. The blue ones are about as boring as youll get. I prefer our current one to any of the others.

For away strip, yellow with the same V would be good, dont even mind the orange one with the V stripe.

Please, please we don't want yellow in any form.I much prefer the orange. For those who remember,we had an orange change kit early 2000,when John Main was chairman. The home colours were royal blue with white sleeves. In my opinion ,the best combination of colours for many a season.
