    According to my Col U colleagues both Sammy the Shrimp and Elvis J Eel were at Layer Road last Saturday for their "family fun day". Surely this is a sackable offence!!

    If Kev lines up against the Gills he will equal Dave Robinson with 348 appearances for the club which puts him 7th in the all time list. Another 10 appearances will see him move above Sammy and Paul Clark into 5th. Quite an achievement in the modern day game.

    watched the mascot grand national up the bookies and it looked like sammy the shrimp came in a very creditable 7th. out of about 50 runners wernt a bad effort. sadly elvis seemed to be trailing in last, looked like he had pulled a groin muscle as he was grabbing hold of his christmas crackers...
