    £25m for Troy Deeney?!

Watford have now turned down a £25m bid from Leicester for Troy Deeney. He seriously isn't worth more than that, is he? If Shane Long went for £12m, I don't see Deeney being worth any more than about £15m personally. The Premier League has gone mad with its 'English tax' on homegrown players.

    Premier League Bet

Just seen an offer on Sky bet on every Premier League game next season that involves either Man Utd or Man City producing more than 0.5 goals each game @ 80/1 Now I think they are really generous odds. Both teams have new managers that will give them a real boost. I can see this bet coming off...

    Sunderland avoid the drop:Newcastle down

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/may/11/sunderland-everton-premier-league-match-report Congratulations to Sunderland on avoiding the drop. Anything that sends Newcastle down has to be good news. Though I feel a little sorry about Norwich's relegation
  10. Greetings from Bratfud

Hi there. I'm an Essex native - born at Orsett Hospital and lived in Grays - who went to Bradford University, aged 24, in 1980 and never came back. I actively followed West Ham through the 70s and I'm still an armchair Hammer, so I guess I'm due some stick on this board from more than one...
  11. Premier League trying it on, again.

Having managed to head off the Premier League's attempt to get their U21 teams inserted into the football pyramid with the League 3 proposal it now appears we have another fight on our hands as, having failed on one score, they're now trying to get in on another. The Prem has come up with a nice...
  12. Ref Watch .... Rochdale A

The last time we played at Spotland was also on Good Friday two years ago. That went rather well (we won 3-0) and they are doing their best to recreate that happy event by sending the same referee ! The man in charge once again will be PE teacher Jeremy Simpson from Carnforth in Lancashire...

Scored an extra time winner for West Ham's u21s to help them to the u21 Premier League final with victory over Liverpool. Must be frustrating for him to be back playing reserves football again.
  15. News from SNN

BREAKING NEWS - A group of unhappy Southend United supporters are 'on the verge' of launching a breakaway team called FC United of Southend. According to their spokesperson Barold Fairweather: 'People think we are disloyal for booing at home and away games recently, but the reality is that with...

Phil Brown has revealed in the echo he hopes to sign a attack minded youngster on loan from a premier league club. I do know that Phil was at the Leicester u21 game the other night? Right, I will start the rumours. Chris Phillips has just started following West Ham Youngster Joe Powell on...

    Jamie Vardy

Last weekend I praised Leicester City's season to date. Today it is the turn of Jamie Vardy as he becomes the first player to score in 11 consecutive Premier League matches. That is one heck of an achievement and it makes you wonder if it will ever be beaten.
