  1. Calling all fans that like to sit close to pitch

I know there are many fans that prefer to sit at the front of stands to be close to the pitch and players. I am the opposite, but have 2 tickets in row A for Stevenage away. If anyone would like to swap, I will collect from any location at a time to suit you.

    Potential Pitch Invasion

Just wondering what peoples thoughts were on the potential for a pitch invasion on Saturday IF WE GET PROMOTED. As a dad with young children i am not a huge fan, not because im a kill joy, but just that at the end of the game i would rather be able to celebrate with the players and for my kids...

Election 2015 - Who or what has turned up at your front door?

I live in South Benfleet and so far I have had a Rebecca Harris/Conservative newsletter and that's it. Anyone else?
  4. Dog poo

Down my road it's gone crazy this last year. It seems that only about half of dog walkers pick it up. The young guys are the worst that walk their dogs to the shops. They don't even carry a poo bag for when I pull them up on it.

    Buffet breakfast liberties

I was in a short queue for the buffet breakfast at a hotel and the fat woman in front of me took the last six slices of bacon and last three fried eggs forcing everyone else to wait. This is on top of three croissants and a cinamon swirl so it's not as if she would have starved if she had taken...
  6. Sunday Mirror - today

In todays Sunday Mirror Football supplement - front page. Has picture of Bury groundsman trying to use roller on pitch in pouring rain. Article headlined Wet - Southend team bus breaks down. Wet - game called off after 6 mins. Wet - Phil Browns fake tan runs in rain! Quite funny in the...

    Park football

After yesterday's disappointment I thought I'd toddle down to the local social club. Two games in progress, got to the first one just as the whistle went for half time. So I wandered over to the other game - and the same thing happened. The first game resumed and I missed the first goal when...

    Community Day at yesterday's game

Have to say a big well done to all involved in the half time activities yesterday, stroke of genius having the walking football in front of the West with two great legends, Frankie Banks and Ronnie Pountney involved. I swear Ronnie was running though! Great bit of fun.

  10. Phil....please play the team by Chapperz !

Phil have a look at the team Chapperz has suggested, this team Imo has the potential to destroy opponents and if used correctly(two up top always)we will fly up the table. Not fussed if we concede as I am convinced that team is full of goals. With Little Jack weaving his magic behind the front 2...
  11. The big BBBC question....

I am an admirer of much of his skilful hold up play and ability in the air BUT he plays back to goal so our attacks go back before going forward and he is not that mobile or fast or good in front of goal .. my thoughts are that we are playing his game, playing to his "strengths" and not...

    Clegg and Alexander in danger?

Front page story in The Times today suggests Labour are looking at a 'decapitation strategy' of trying to get Nick Clegg and Danny Alexander beaten in their respective constituencies. Idea being that they are the two Lib Dems most closely associated with the coalition, so with them out of the...
