Club Information Pre-season Fixtures

If they don't want fans out there then just say it's behind closed doors. But can't understand why they wouldn't want people to go.

But it’s just as effective not saying anything at all ?
Not saying leaves it open though. I hope it's not a case they don't want fans though as it would be disappointing. I know JR has talked about pre-season tours in the past. Why not involve fans? What would be so bad about having fans present?

It is a shame, as we would of taken a decent crowd out to Spain for a few days on the beers in the sun. But with barely two weeks notice, it's not going to happen now. Sure a few may still be able to make it when the club announce details and packages, but the vast majority unfortunately won't. Maybe next summer.

Cost?

I'd imagine the cost of hiring a stadium with the associated stewarding, ticketing etc maybe relatively high.

I believe it is at a venue that is hosting a number of other EFL team friendlies and training sessions, perhaps even on the same day. So cost wouldn't be too prohibitive when shared with other clubs.
