No, it will be in July.

We will need to finish in the top 3 to have a realistic chance of going up next season IMO and to dot that we would need to keep our best players and sign 4-5 new ones who add something to the side (not only potential future golden nuggets in a few years time).

I disagree... 1st, 4th or 5th are the prime positions...

Assume the slough one is a little kick for them off the back for us signing Leon. We had the same deal Kings Langley for signing Wood and with Weymouth when we signed Goodship but due to Covid the following year the Weymouth one never got arranged. Apparently Ron promised them some money but it was not forthcoming and as the agreement wasn't contractually stipulated it left Weymouth a bit short from the deal.

Lutons a new one for a pre-season friendly. Could it herald the return of Pepple...

Wouldn't have made any difference if the Weymouth deal was contractually binding!

Ballyfermot 0 Southend United 0. One of the worst games I’ve ever seen. Asked the guy on the door if they did food. Yes he said. Great I said. We are starving. Ended up with pot noodles and a mini mars bar. Might give it a rain check this year…

Personally I would rather see this tour money going into our players budget.
Especially as we are skint according to some people. Just my personal take on it, not having a dig at anyone.

It's more about strength and conditioning. Also, a change of scenery is most welcome for team bonding. It may also be a little nod of appreciation towards the players and staff that stood by a dying club.
