Wembley tickets

It is madness, and considerig it is TFL who have caused some of the carnage, surely they should be responsible for putting on rail replacement transport.. clearly I am deluded, but you'd think!
Sorry but I actually do not hold TfL culpable here, and let me make it abundantly clear I have no time for them, Network Rail or the Mayoral office. Lining up engineering is a massive task, no doubt involving sub contractors as well. Cancelling, adjusting etc is no easy task, probably mired in contractual issues as well.

TfL post their planned enhancements on a rolling SIX month basis. The play off date was announced well after that by the NL/Wembley.

If anything TfL are part of the solution and they’ve already confirmed laying on extra trains (not many but more than zero). Maybe they’ll be able to do more, either trains, a shuttle to Wembley Park or even postponement.

100 percent of this is National League and Wembley assuming 35K would cover any final. I haven’t checked but at least two finals have had a greater number than that so they were playing the percentage game. At the time they posted the date these restrictions could have been advised to all clubs giving ample time for compromise, contingency etc etc.

The day I sit on Khan’s side of the fence is a sad day for me but direct the anger where it needs to go.

Think it’s only me that doesn’t care about ‘ day trippers ‘ it’s normally just people bringing more family and friends which I don’t mind. Games like this is when there’s a chance to expand the fan base and grow as a football club . Can’t be seen as a bad thing

I agree with the sentiment, but due to the monumental **** up I only agree to an extent.
I would have liked them there to make up the numbers. But unfortunately in many cases they're attending at the expense of actual (mostly exiled) Shrimpers.

There has been a few posts on here and other social media platforms, with supporters turning on each other regarding ticket allocations to STH........the club made the decision regarding the 4 tickets not the STH, out of interest how many could you buy per person on the general sale, all these decisions are at club level
the total fiasco with the allocation is the main cause for this issue, the powers to be at the top of the tree got it completley wrong and sadly for them the best two supported clubs in the league are heading to London.
Just make the tickets available and the fans of both clubs will just get on with it, we are not talking fans with lighted torches and pitchforks(thats colu) fighting and rioting in Wembley, mass panic by the idiots at the top of the tree has caused this, as Shrimper since 75 its sad to see our own fans turning on each other

I’ve always thought there must be around 20’000 Shrimpers, some go every home game some every now and then and of course many exiles, finals pull us all together including day trippers.
We have over 100k followers on Twitter. Obviously not everyone who follows will be an actual fan, but if half are casually interested and half are fans, that's 50k and only those who are on Twitter.

You are right but everyone has to cop it at this point- scatter gun but needs must. Sad fact is that the idiots most responsible can do least to rectify the imbecilic error.

If all we had done is scream at the NL the capacity would still be 40,000…regrettably…
Let’s hope the min target 60k capacity gets approved- that leaves 55k for the clubs. If Oldham needed 25k in the end maybe we could get to 30k (still 5k+ short of what we need..

BTW off topic but I hope the new East stand will meaningfully increase the capacity at RH. If we do get promoted or don’t but a flying near the top then we are going to increasing have sell outs the current rate. When FF was on the cards the original 22k capacity was considered toppy but it then went to 16k- the way things are going we probably need to get RH to a 16k capacity…

100k followers on twitter would be more like 20,000 actual people. But some of those will be journalists or fans of other clubs in our division (or formerly in our division) or just outright trolls. So let’s say 15,000.

But as only 1 in 3 has a twitter account so we could triple that figure.

That would be aligned with what the club was saying based on the number queuing to get on the ticket site.
