Wembley tickets

Think it’s only me that doesn’t care about ‘ day trippers ‘ it’s normally just people bringing more family and friends which I don’t mind. Games like this is when there’s a chance to expand the fan base and grow as a football club . Can’t be seen as a bad thing
And if we get 25% or thereabouts of every £35 then that helps too

Hope those who have coach and ticket packages but are not going on the coach, inform the club to save drivers waiting for people to turn up and also it may well reduce the need for a coach so saving money for the club.
What about those with the coach package but not using the coach ticket being able to donate them to the club/Trust who can then pass them on to people in Southend area that have a ticket but not worked out their travel plans?

It is madness, and considerig it is TFL who have caused some of the carnage, surely they should be responsible for putting on rail replacement transport.. clearly I am deluded, but you'd think!

This is the nature of a Wembley final for any lower league team, and hopefully some of the daytrippers become regulars.
Exactly this.

My wife had little or no interest in football but came to the Cardiff matches when Wembley was closed. She then became a season ticket holder & came to many away games for several years until work commitments made that unfeasible. This was despite sitting next to the much missed Homer J Olley. 😇

21300 have been sold by us.

If I'm honest, I don't see that many more making the trip. Not a bad effort for a trip across the country for a 5th division team.

Daytrippers galore from both sides.

Where were this lot at Wealdstone away on a Tuesday night?!
Working? Spending time with family?

And if there weren't any "Day Trippers" we would only take 8,000 - 10,000 supporters

I would have taken five 'day trippers' - mates from mainly London area who come and watch the odd game with me, who kind of see Southend as their second club (always interested in results, know all the chants etc). Couple of those day trippers came with me to 2015 play-off final and absolutely loved it.

Those five aren't coming with me because I logged in on Sunday and decided to focus on the important tickets and not be greedy/not take away tickets for real fans - one for me, one for my 6 y/o daughter who is hyped up beyond belief and my 70-something dad, who I had to stick 10 rows behind as a solo ticket (not complaining, just glad three generations of my family will get to watch such an important game *almost* together).

Must be a fair few others in the same boat, I'd imagine, knocking a few thou of what we probably would have taken thanks to all of the uncertainty.

Anyway, fingers crossed for Sunday and we blast our way out of this b*stard league!
