Ticket News Maher Testimonial Match - Fri 16th May - Maher XI v Premier League Legends

Will be going along with several others but haven't got round to buying tickets yet. Looking at hospitality potentially.

Couldn't care less who will be on the field. Could be a Sunday League side for all I care. If I am still lucky enough to be alive in 40 years time I expect I will still be waiting for someone to have the positive impact on my club that Kevin Maher has had.

Doesn't look like many tickets sold for this yet, disappointing given its less than two weeks away. Can't help but think the organisation of it has been more style than substance... would have been good to have announced most of the players by this stage to get more people buying - hopefully we see a larger uptake once tomorrow is out of the way!

Bit underwhelmed by the prem team but will be great to see so many ex blues

I'll be there and if I'm not ill still buy a ticket regardless.

Although I have no hope of attending I am more than happy to contribute to the cause by buying some tickets. If I did that would it be possible to find someone to pass them on to someone deserving who might want to go to the match?
I know I could just buy the tickets and then not turn up but it does seem a better outcome if they were to be used. However, I appreciate that is making work for others and it might just be too hard to organise.

That sir, is a very kind hearted offer. If I remember correctly, The Shrimpers Trust were inviting less advantaged folk to games, who might otherwise not be able to afford to go. Maybe @Medway Blue or @Liam AAS might be able to help.
