any idea when a decision will be made on this ??

Probably tomorrow. To give people time to arrange alternatives if the numbers don't materialise. we're at just over the 100 mark atm, so quietly optimistic. Will then be a case of arranging the deposit and rest of payment with the broker. At which point those who've completed the form will need the stump up the cash within the amount quoted in the thread subject.

You are probably right @Chaz SUFC & some who also might come would also have previously committed to the cheaper coaches or a more expensive train & can't change those bookings. No fault of anyone but just a timing thing.
Keeping everything crossed as I won't get there otherwise.

UPDATE: As of Midday today we have 112 confirmations of interest/Intent. With the club now showing the game live I am anticipating a slowing down of take ups on this and also a few drop outs. Ideally need another 50-60 names down to give this a chance. I will be making a call on this by tomorrow evening as we need to give people time to source alternative transport if we can't make it happen. The Broker also needs time to schedule in pilots and staff etc so tomorrow evening is the latest they would need confirmation by, maybe Thursday AM at an absolute push. Will keep everyone posted but please share wide and far with anyone who is going to the game and may be interested. Many Thanks for now

You can. Newcastle airport is at one end of the line which goes directly to Gateshead Stadium Metro station which is a 10 minute walk to the stadium itself.
Actually quite a nice trip as it goes over the Tyne on the QE2 Bridge near the Tyne Bridge for the classic panorama shot...
