Wouldn't take much for the Russians to grind us to a halt, would it ?Find it interesting that major UK physical and cyber infrastructure seems to be failing with some regularity. I'm sure it's nothing
An option could be mate if he gets a flight to CDG Paris mate then gets Eurostar to London mateMy eldest son was due to land at Heathrow this morning from JFK, to make a whistle stop 4 day visit to see me for the 1st time since last July.
At least he wasn't on one of the flights already airborne from there, which were either diverted or turned back some 2 1/2 hrs into the flight.
He's currently trying to find a flight to Gatwick for tomorrow, but i very much doubt he'll be successful?.
Cheers for that, but he was only going to be here until Tues morning. An option could be mate if he gets a flight to CDG Paris mate then gets Eurostar to London mate
Or Dublin and then hop over to Stansted? An option could be mate if he gets a flight to CDG Paris mate then gets Eurostar to London mate

Had one of my drivers I had to send to Birmingham on one of the diverted flights, driver was happy with £550 in his bin for it, customers company paid so was a win win all roundFortunately, we've got no Heathrow jobs in today, hope you've not got any clients caught up in this either @TrueBlue . Feel sorry for anyone now having to make drastic travel plan changes.
I bet he was happy!Had one of my drivers I had to send to Birmingham on one of the diverted flights, driver was happy with £550 in his bin for it, customers company paid so was a win win all round
Southend to Schiphol is far better than getting to Heathrow for long haulA lady I work with was due to fly to Chicago for work , so not paying herself
She found out about the problem at 6.30am and immediately tried to book a flight from somewhere else.
Direct flights one way has rocketed to £8,000
She ended up getting a train to Birmingham, staying over night, flew to Amsterdam and then to Chicago—-£2,800 one way!
Talk about taking the ****
