Is it allowed? I see so many people doing it and never see a steward deal with it.
I stand to be corrected and likely will be, my understanding is that it is NOT allowed. And I would think a discarded vape thing may be a fire hazard in many areas of the ground, especially the wooden East?Is it allowed? I see so many people doing it and never see a steward deal with it.
Ditto and its awful when it is blown in your direction. Is it allowed? I see so many people doing it and never see a steward deal with it.
Drinking doesn't "waft" on to another person (with most folks) where as vaping or smoking does impinge on other individuals around them.Ditto and its awful when it is blown in your direction.
In the West you can up the top outside the back if you want a smoke or Vape so its not as if you cant.
I really do wish they would clamp down on it when in your seats
But, i have also noticed recently people bringing in their beer from the bar and sitting down to drink while watching the game and this is in front if the stewards too who dont say anything - although to be fair most if the stewards are kids
Yeah, saw a steward having a polite chat with a couple of guys drinking their pints at the back of the West during the Fylde game. Definitely didn't look like they were in trouble for doing it.Ditto and its awful when it is blown in your direction.

Would rather the aroma of fox sh it!Is it allowed? I see so many people doing it and never see a steward deal with it.
Totally agree, the vaping and smoking is a no,no but as long as people are responsible with the drinking then I don’t really seem the harm although is it not a FA rule?Drinking doesn't "waft" on to another person (with most folks) where as vaping or smoking does impinge on other individuals around them.
It would be a good day, imo, if drinks could be responsibly supped in the stands however vaping/fags are too invasive and decisive.
The stewards have a very diplomatic and often difficult job to attempt a balance at for minimum wage.
I would think that vaping in the East stand especially would be the height of stupidity.especially the wooden East?

Anyone with even the barest of knowledge of the history of football or even a glimmer of common sense should be aware of the danger of this.
I suppose as part of getting a safety certificate the club must have worked out how long it takes to evacuate various parts of the ground, and the East in particular.
Except it can be. And I don't know about anyone else but I don't really fancy someone puffing away in front of me blowing it in my face. If you must do it go stand at the back or just wait until after the game.No it’s not but do it anyway it’s no harm to anyone
By that I assume you mean it doesn't harm you? My understanding is that it can be quite uncomfortable for people with breathing difficulties. No it’s not but do it anyway it’s no harm to anyone
Agreed. Vapes are one of the worst things to come out the current generationI would rather have an old boy next to be smoking a pipe than those rotten vape things which smell like a cheap bottle of smelly.
So can a good fart, but you can't go banning them at football as there would be nobody left in the ground.By that I assume you mean it doesn't harm you? My understanding is that it can be quite uncomfortable for people with breathing difficulties.
You do realise that vaping is completely non combustible.
The chances of someone leaving a vape behind that then decides to explode is miniscule.
Bearing in mind what happened at Bradford, people continued to smoke in the east stand for years.
