My brother works in investment banking, was having a drink with him last night in the East India Arms by Fenchurch Street station and he said he had heard Kimura were frustrated and considering pulling the plug if things do not move forward. Now as he said to me he has no knowledge of the deal but just hat he heard over lunch on Wednesday. To clarify he isnt ITK, I am not ITK just what he heard over a business lunch on Wednesday, like most speculation probably just BS. Those on here who are ITK’s probably have more info

Sounds entirely rational. As passionate as they may be, it's still a business transaction. If Ron continues to dick about, who could blame them for pulling the plug

Option 1. Kimura. The only group so far to have credible info published on them. Have an offer on the table that has been accepted by RM. Currently conducting thorough DD. Has been "close" for a while, as mentioned by CP & MS. Suggestions that Kimura along with a local MP, are possibly meeting with Ron today/soon, for further discussions.


Option 2. Colchester based estate agent/property group, rumoured to be either (Paul Smith - SpicerHaart) or Jon Hunt (Formerly Foxtons owner) allegedly offering to provide forward investment into the club, presumably for a cut of the RH/FF property deals. Suggestions of RM to remain as Chairman, as part of the deal. Hints late yesterday that this group may no longer be in the running. As yet unconfirmed by an official source.


Option 3. Suggestions that a second/third party are possibly in the mix. Limited to no info on them at present in the public domain.

It’s no surprise to anyone that the Southend loving chairman of ours is actually a sociopathic narcissist that couldn’t run a hot dog stand in a football stadium ..(ooh wait a minute) the delay is the constant change of direction lack of engagement with Martin and his fat useless **** of a son… I’m still routing for team Kimura to have the staying power to carry on chipping away, it’s not like they won’t know what RM is like and what sort of **** storm he will be trying to cover up, they are good people as for SJ instergrams give the fella some slack they are local lads who are potentially on the edge of something amazing for us all , he’s excited and I love that . Just a few pictures on his ‘personal’ social media ! Good luck to him .. we may need to get used to his exuberant ways pretty soon who knows?

Just want to re iterate, my brother has no inside info, doesn't work for Kimura (bat a well known investment bank) and doesn't work in the sports side of investment banking. He was at a lunch and one of the guys there expressed these views along with others, and he passed them onto me

3 weeks ago we where lead to believe 95% done deal, Ron desperate to sell and all be wrapped up the following week. 3 weeks on talks seem to have halted with kimura becoming more distant in completing a takeover. Doesn't look like Southend are going to be sold anytime soon, infact I'm not even sure a deal will happen. Our situation looks to messy to me.
