PG Site Services on Twitter again

I disagree. PG seem go for the very popular "shout now, shout loud, and make a fool of yourself" approach, whereas Ron goes for the "say nothing for as long as you can, or until you need to trot out a fews lies" approach.

Completely different

Completely different.
You’ve completely missed my point.

PG Site Services throw their toys out of their pram at every opportunity, but Ron just ignores the fan base and doesn’t communicate with us.

Both equally as appalling as the other at PR

Personal feeling based on no fact is that this is part of a coordinated approach to force the narcissist to sell.

Just because he’s said he’s looking to sell is very different to actually selling.

Hopefully this will further weaken his hand in any selling negotiations.

Maybe with a new owner coming in we don't want a 5 year (4 remaining) sponsorship deal - look what Reynolds & Co have done at Wrexham - their sponsorship income must've shot through the roof - may be new owners can bring in more income via sponsorship and it suits us to mutually terminate the deal.

For those that are unaware this is what Stockholm Syndrome means:

Stockholm syndrome is a coping mechanism to a captive or abusive situation. People develop positive feelings toward their captors or abusers over time. This condition applies to situations including child abuse, coach-athlete abuse, relationship abuse, football club ownership and sex trafficking.

This has been a ShrimperZone information message.
Fixed that for you mate :Thumbs up:

And people are still buying season tickets and funding this BS.

If you're one of those then DO NOT come on here Discussing when it all comes crashing down.
I would think the vast majority of people would want their club to continue in some vein so they can still go to games. If the club dies, we all lose and of course everyone is going to moan. In fact they'll probably be Discussing at the people who didn't buy the season tickets because they will have played a very active part in ensuring that one of the clubs income streams is cut off.

We all think we know what should have happened historically, but it hasn't. If Ron has run out of money, he can't magic it out of thin air. So what do you want to do now? Make it worse so that the club will almost certainly go into administration or even go under if it can't fund it's way through the summer?

Yes, that will all be Ron's fault historically, but I hope those who refuse to financially support the club in it's hour of need will realise that it will be they who will hammer the final nail in the coffin.

I am sure all of the more senior supporters, who have attended RH for 50-60 years watching their local professional team, will be absolutely overjoyed at the notion that against Wealdstone on the last game of the season they may be watching the last ever professional game at the Hall. As for me, that will probably be it for me football wise; I don't think I could get behind a Phoenix club.

And Ron will continue to laugh at us fans who just bankroll his joke of a business.
Do you honestly believe that Ron cares one way or another now @Paulie Walnuts? I believe he's reached the stage where he will collect sheds full of dosh regardless of whether the Club survives or not, and that's because he's expertly dodgy enough to have set it all up that way. So if supporters want to invest their money in a season card, which may help pay wages, then that's what they will do. I certainly won't ridicule anyone regardless of their choices, buy or don't. And if I feel the need to moan on here, at any time, I reckon I will, after all it ain't known as ShrimperMoan for no good reason.

I'm delighted with this news.

If we take things at face value, the club is up for sale and a new ground is close to being started.

At face value, in 12 months time, we could have a very different, dare I say optimistic club to support.

With that in mind, we are becoming far more attractive to businesses and I think we'll see stan come in to play.

I'm grateful to PG for stepping in, but their branding, communication skills and general vibe is Sunday league. While we have fallen significantly in recent years, we aren't that.

We'll be fine. There are other companies that can provide plant works for the build and other companies that will sponsor our shirts.

I'm also certain any new sponsor won't be as embarrassing as this one.

We have become desensitised to their social media output. It's become funny. They have become a bit of a meme.

The future Southend United deserve better.

I couldn't tell you a thing about Watch Lotto or Betterview Windows or any other previous sponsors, but from their social media, inability to reply to genuine questions themselves, I can tell you that however unlikely it is that I will ever need to use their services, based on their public persona, I wouldn't use PG for anything.

Thanks PG. I genuinely hope they are repaid their loans in full promptly.

I then hope that they reinvest that money into a social media course and perhaps uninstall twitter from their phones.

And the services of a graphic designer?

Look, its a free country (just) if someone does or does not want to buy a season ticket thats their decision.

Lets stop all this calling people idiots stuff and mind your own business, we are all fans. Things are toxic enough without all this stuff. Its annoying. And boring.

I think it’s fair to say the new owners will probably have very different expectations regarding shirt sponsors. So not having a four year deal outstanding will I am sure suit the very very well.

If PG are exiting the remaining 4 years of their commitment, are owed a bundle of money, but expect to remain as a supplier I suspect an amicable parting has been negotiated.

Don't undesrtand all this talk of a five year deal. PG Services signed up for a three year deal according to the official club site announcement last year, so presumably there were options to renew or not at the end of this season.
