What the hell is going on with this site. Whenever I come here on yet another thread has been closed by mods. I know I've mentioned it before but the censorship is becoming a bit of a joke now to be honest. It seems we are the being dictated to what we can and can't say continuously. Even the pre-match thread has for some reason been closed, just seems wrong to me. If we're not entitled to have a moan now then when will we ever, it can't all be positive la la la conversations.

I imagine its because some threads just seem to descend into the same old arguments. The recruitment thread would soon become the same as the embargo thread etc.

but we have a right to discuss recruitment because its the clubs number 1 problem, actually god knows what our number 1 problem is, there's so many. If someone just decides to close a thread then that IMO, it goes against the whole point of the website. Anyway, thats that from me on this because we could go on forever. My only point was, I don't believe anyone has/should have the power to pick and choose what we do and don't talk about.

It isn't just my call. If the Mods, who do an excellent job on here deem a thread is heading in one direction, normally grief for us or is deemed to have run it's course it gets closed.

I guess you could say that as the club is in such a dire state atm that a few more than usual have been shut. This isn't to stop free speech it's to keep an equilibrium on this site for all.

There isn't going to be any recruitment atm. If and when the embargo gets lifted open another thread.

Ironic that SVC himself started the Recruitment thread and nothing happened, apart from Still's arrival. Another mouth to feed when players were the priority. Surely the embargo must been seen coming. The CEO must have known. Don't the new management team speak to each other?

I suspect such threads are closed because they run a the risk of crossing the line of what is acceptable from a legal perspective and as such expose the site and it's members to litigation.

No complaints from me as long as I can still comment on a loan player who made five appearances for us twelve years ago.
