Enjoying watching Oliver! this morning, absolute classic.
Was it worth the waiting for? Of course it was! One of my all time favourites and a reminder of the genius of Lionel Bart.Enjoying watching Oliver! this morning, absolute classic.
Huh I loved it. No one expects great acting lol.Saw the new star wars today, underwhelmed.
Story line okay but poor acting and huge swings from huge scenes of momentous events and then Disney style lines such as Leah naming former smuggler bloke as commanding general at her death. 5/10
Agree, fantastic film, I saw the trailers about the immersive way they filmed it, but was stunned by the results.1917 , I never recommend a film , but this one is rather special .
Agreed- and Rey’s parents story is just stupid and contradicts earlier filmsSaw the new star wars today, underwhelmed.

Totally agree to both points , had no idea it was grant until mate told me. Very obviously a Ritchie film. The other characters or the ensemble as a whole was not as good as lock stock and snatch but still very entertainingWatched "the gentleman", Guy Ritchies new film.
Loved it. Hugh Grant was brilliant in it.

We haven’t seen it yet, but it sounds like the plot is similar to the end scenes from Gallipoli” which is another excellent anti war filmAnother vote for 1917 .Hope Sam Mendes's excellent anti-war film gets some of the Oscar/Bafta recognition it deserves.

As I said I haven’t seen 1917- but from the trailers I thought the main characters were trying to get through to a troop formation to stop an attack that is going to end in a massacre? You also have the ‘save the brother/ best mate’ similarityWhile I'd agree that Gallipoli was an excellent ant-war film I'm not at all sure that the plot of 1917 is in any way similar.
