I'm to frightened to vote as I don't want to be singled out by a moderator who demands I explain myself, like last time. I would vote 10 because the more love you give the more you get back and your whole life improves.

I don't think you are, and once you've voted it is anonymous to those of us that have voted.

Oh and another thing, what happened to the idea of a fan representative on the board?

Even the watered down compromise seems to have been forgotten.

I might be the only one who gives a 10 and that might get me cyber bullied. People might get jealous that the club have shown me more love than them.

Assuming you haven't voted, then three posters have already beaten you to it. They better not be remainers.

I appreciate the appreciation by Andy T.

If I could bore people , ive just landed back from a business trip to Cyprus , a 1 day trip . "IronBrew" will love that, overseas travel and i live in Leigh ( wow .... ). But my providing for my family aside , the reason why I mention Cyprus , is because I travel a lot and wherever I go, you find football is a unversal language. Every where I've ever gone, the inevitable question comes " who do you support " and I'm always proud to say Southend , I never question myself. I get chippy on here sometimes because I feel expectations are too high , that's my own call inappreciate, but I think that sometimes like for like comparisons aren't made. Liverpool haven't won the title since 91, are some of their fans as disenfranchised as some of ours, of course they are , because it's expectations built on your own personal history. My personal history is 86, I've seen awful awful stuff. I've seen terrible players, terrible players , terrible football , but my love won't die. I actually never expect us to win, it helps repress the disappointment when we do and we will , we are a lower league football club. For my own end, I've enjoyed the whole PB term, we've seen downs , but we've also seen highs. Even if you believe we wee lucky to get promoted , we did. Fact. We were probably lucky to beat Utd, game of Darlys life , but we did and rightly so we still bring this up in our collective groups , we beat Man Utd. I don't ask for much, I ask for a fair, realistic expectation, thats it. YB mentioned a fan presence on the board , I agree with this. Again, I work in the world of global finance and understand the world isn't what we want to make it , but yes, a respected fan , to hear and maybe speak up of concerns , is one thing the club could consider.

Again , since 10.10.86 I've been hooked and I'll be hooked till the day I die.

I did thanks. Missed my family , had 24 hours in another country and sat in rows 27 and 36.

And yep, 86 was great thanks , mainly because there was no internet to read your fantastic responses !

Wow you sound like Wayne Bridge in the jungle.... he missed his family..... I love Cyprus (been there 14 times, and crossed the border 28 years ago, when it was risky) a nice place.

You must be really intuitive. Mcnasty is Phil Brown's number one supporter, even more than Rigsby.

Not more than Rising Damp, it's not possible is it? I was told someone went to punch Brown, but Rigsby put his face in the way to block the punch, he has been commended for his actions and has The Keys to Boots & Laces.

Happens a lot in your world.

You're banging your head against a brick wall on that one.

No-one from the Trust ever provides the reason why the answer to that question is 'zip, zero, zilch'.

You're wrong there.

It continues to be an aim of the Trust to have board representation. Unfortunately, as has also been explained before, until RM can be convinced, it is unlikely to happen. I think that, when a new CEO is appointed, this long term aim will again be reiterated. We know it's a long ball game.

Wasn't SK pro the idea initially ? but once Ron had words he went off it.

Personally, I have always been a believer in there being someone on the board speaking for the Fans , but unless there is a fan who has board level experience in a company with £3M + pa income, what benefit is there for the company ?

Does anyone know of a business model where this works ? any large company with a customer rep on the board ?
