You will have to wait for the official word I am sure Beaver is checking to make sure everything is correct :)

Have the majority of Trust members voted then or was it only a 2 day window for them to?

Edit: Paul just answered my question, thanks.

There was a rumour going about that they could go to Spain for a costs covered trip backed by Insureandgo's parent company, how true that is I don't know but if that is/was an alternative it would be free and would make sense for a club that does not have a pot to **** in.

That rumour was utter bollocks.

The Club will only be happy when they have completely spent all of the Trust's "FANS" fund. Why they are being involved in this decision by the club to go on tour is beyond me...If the club or PS decide they want a tour fine no problem but if they cannot afford to fund it from within of from TB or RM's asset then it should not be the responsibility of the fans to pay for it.

Yes that is what I think Brady wanted to do but wasn't expecting it as Sturrock wanted to go Scotland!

I'm not a member of the Trust and therefore can't vote. I do have one question though. Has anyone asked the club to justify the expense? £10k is supposedly half the cost. Are they really saying a, say, two week trip to Scotland will cost £20k? Personally I think that is excessive, and I wouldn't be surprised if the real figure is actually much lower, with Tara Brady trying to pull a fast one by really getting the Trust to pay the whole amount.

Maybe the Trust should say they will pay the travel costs and accomodation, but any match fees etc. should be met by the club, just like they would have been had the games been played locally.

Isn't it a lot more than a two day trip for the Club? Someone mentioned ten days earlier in the thread.

I voted yes - a great idea and huge PR for the fans relations with the manager/team.

You told me you haven't been a Trust member for ages!

Do i smell a conspiracy of inviting ex-members of the Trust to vote to get this through?

If so, this could be a void referendum!

I think they'll be staying at the university. Not sure why but as soon as Stirling was mentioned I thought of rooms in one of the halls of residence (spartan if i remeber correctly from 40 years ago) which are free during the summer.. The university will also have a gym, swimming pool etc and is a short coach trip to Methil. I'm probably way off here and they're staying at the Dunblane Hydro!!!!!!!!

Steve do yourself a favour and just shut the **** up for once

Paul has been a Member since 29th October 2002, so no conspiracy Steve.

Thanks Paul for clearing that up.

Scott, thats no way for a supposedly respected Trust Comitee member to speak! I'd thank you if you didnt do that again.

I only voiced what i was told by Paul himself and i have been corrected by Beaver. Apologies to Naps if i have been mistaken, i'm sure i'll get a ribbing for it at some point. Matter over.
