Because we have plenty of players averaging around 50 in test cricket waiting to take his place, don't we?

Every other test playing nation would rejoice if we replaced KP with Michael Carberry.

No idea mate but KP seems more bothered with anything but test cricket, ie the money spinning Indian super tournaments.
 
That was dismal. Mr Swann to again bash the ball about for fun at the end and look unnerved. He is a great find to the England camp.
But the rest of the team...
That is still a 250-300 wicket and that was well below par.
At lunch England were 3/1 and SA 4/5 to win.

On a serious note they are subject to thunderstorms at this test ground I remember reading. We need breakthroughs and we need them quick. Need to get SA out for under 250 really! If the wicket is crippling.
