sorry, if I'm missing anything, but why isnt Zoltans name being mentioned? is he crap?

centre back..everyone is asking why we havnt signed a new one..dosnt he deserve a chance?

Good point, Tilly said he needed at least 6 months when he signed him
Maybe he's now ready to fill Richards shoes as the spare centre back if Clarke/AB are injured/suspended?

Zoltan's always been part of Tilly's "long-term plan" and apparently needed around a year to gain fitness and adapt to style and tempo of the English game. Although I've not seen him play, I certainly wouldn't expect him to challenge Clarke or AB without any first team action under his belt. I expect we might see him on the bench a few more times as the season comes to a close, but wouldn't expect him to figure as a starter until 08-09.

Edit: unless of course injury opens up a spot for him and Tilly feels he can do the job better than an emergency loan player.

Hopefully he can do a job for us if required but I think most of us would want someone more experienced.

Id expect Hunt to play ahead of him.

there is no doubting he is technically very very good. very classy on the ball and has a great pass on him. his problems are tactical, strength and the language barrier... which tilly has been working on but takes time. im sure when he is ready then we'll see what the fuss is about, but i think it's worth being patient as bringing him in too early could smash his confidence
