Youtube stopped

Surely a government has a right to decide what is in the public interest for its citizens to view (they only have jurisdiction over their own ISP's)
If the Video's are contrary to the law of the land (however much we might think that the law is daft, its their law) they have the right to ask ISP's to block sites that perpetually break the law.
We do it here with hild Porn...(cut the emotion out of the comparison and look at the fact that both are breaches of the Laws of a particular land)

As much as I think this is complete rubbish I don't think videos like this, http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=1uwOL4rB-go, are helping the relationships between the Middle East and anywhere else in the world... XD

Absolutely fecking hilarious...I love it.

The son b!tches blow up thousands of people then whinge at this...well they can go feck themselves the murdering ****s!!!

If you watch the video all the way thru, it takes the mick of all religions!!

Do you see the jews and catholics up in arms!!!

It's high time that a good Ventrilaquist made the big time and filled the void left by Nookie bear, and I can see a bright future for Achmed the dead terrorist.
What I would also like to see is Rolf Harris doing some pictures of Allah sitting on a cloud...''Muslims - can you see what is it yet?''

I hope not, the Catholics spent 20 years bombing Mainland Britain with American money...where was the Yanks "War on Terror" then.....

It wasn't just youtube that was blocked off.

I've also had shrimperzone blocked for the last couple of days!

Add to that I've been trying to log on to the Danone website over the last couple of days, but have been unable to. Again, I am sure this is an Islamic website conspiracy led by Mullah Lite.

This is exactly the sort of decision that gives religion such a poor light. If a religion is as virtuous and right as it professes to be then people will choose to follow the religion rather than be protected from anything that may divert their attentions. I appreciate your point, indeed I made a similar point a few months ago, but creating laws that protect the state of religion in society is symptomatic of a under-developed political landscape IMO.
