Another Saturday and another long trip to Yorkshire, this time to face the team just one place and one point above us - the only difference is that, unlike ours, York City’s points tally is based on their actual performances on the pitch. If we win on Saturday we’ll be off the bottom of the table!

The Minstermen are already on their second manager of the season with Neil Ardley replacing the sacked Michael Moreton just before their last game, and to some extent he has arrested their decline with a 2-2 home draw against Boreham Wood although they still await a first win of the season with just 4 draws and 4 defeats from their opening 8 games.

York signed Tyler Cordner over the summer and he’s likely to be the only familiar face in their squad for Saturday, although the also have Alex Woodyard in their squad (currently out with a calf injury) and David Stockdale joined as head of recruitment/goalkeeper in the summer so could feature.

Kev has once again the same limited squad of players to choose from and it remains to be seen if this will be further diminished if Nathan Ralph is not fit enough to start. Last Saturday saw Gus employed as an emergency centre back and that may be the best option again if Ralph’s injury is bad. We also have 3 games in 8 days so our chairman’s disastrous management of the club is likely to further be exposed on the pitch through the limited resources at Kev’s disposal.

So who would you pick to start on Saturday and what do you predict the result will be?

I am more concerned that this is the 1st of 7 games in 3 weeks. This is quite possibly the period our depleted squad is found out. Hopefully, no news about Ralph is good news, but I am fairly convinced Bridge isn't fully fit.

Hope for a win Saturday, the sooner we get more points on board the better, but it won't be easy.
No news might mean we don't want York knowing of any changes
