world item, a local volunteer

Does any local shrimperzoner want to get involved in the first stage worldwide shrimperzone item?
Please read 'Worldwide shrimperzone item' thread if you don't know what it's about.

Basically we need someone to collect the Pennant donated by the Trust, have their picture taken with it at Roots Hall, post your picture with it on the site, sign the pennant ( in the sequence on the other thread ), write your own small message on it and then send it to me and i'll do the same.
Sounds complicated, but a doddle really.

Will Take half an hour and will cost about 3 quid to send to me.
If you can help please let me know as us overseas fans are up for it.

It will hopefully end up back at roots hall with signatures of Shrimpers from around the globe.

The Trust have confirmed that the pennant will be housed at the Roots Hall Bar wall as memorabilia on its return from around the globe.

For those who become involved

The trust confirmed that each overseas member who takes part will recieve a mini-pennant as a gift.
Sounds good to me.

To recieve it you have to mail me after you've had your picture on the site and i'll co-ordinate with the Trust.

im off to the Nou camp to see Barca on the 2nd April, so if you can get it to me by then. i will have a picture of the pendant taken there.

As previously advised I'm off to the Far East some around 13-20th March - trip could be longer but I'm definitely going to Korea and HK and almost certainly going to Singapore.

A photo of me and the pennant at the HK Sevens should do the trick. D'ya think a photo of the pennant hanging from an orifice* of a gorgeous oriental masseuse would be welcomed.

* An earhole naturally.

We're off to see Valencia v Real Madrid on March 6th (with Harry Barris in tow) but I think that may be too soon. So maybe you could get it to us for Valencia v Barcelona on May 8th. Failing that, we'll just have to go for Jávea v Altea instead!!

Seriously, excellent idea and the Spanish Shrimpers (Costa Blanca Branch) are well up for it - all five of us ...
