World Darts Championships 2024/25

Thought it was horrid tv last night watching Cameron Menzies having a meltdown on stage
Struggling mentally inside and outside was not a nice watch with crowd on his back
Hope he gets help soon x

Thought Price looked a shadow of his former self last night.

His match up was really devoid of quality.

The averages are taking in all scores, so obviously including hitting doubles quick. But the high scorers with the trebles, will get the first shot at a double more over a match. So anyone consistently averaging around 110 will probably win it. That's why I think it will be Littler or Humphries.

You kind of feel it’s written in the stars for Littler. He’s so refreshing to watch as he plays with freedom and does what he wants.

Can anyone else see anyone but Littler or Humphries winning it?
Yes, because they will meet in the semis if they both get that far, and then in the other half you've got MVG, Price, Smith, and Anderson. All of those players can beat the Lukes on their day and with some luck. I fancy MVG to cause an upset.

The early rounds are pretty dire, quality wise. I appreciate there should be the opportunity for lower ranked players to take part, but 45 mins of Sherrock versus Miekle on a prime-time slot was pretty painful viewing.
