Won't sell me tickets ...

Help please. Not a regular visitor, granted. But did go to Hereford game early in season. Bought tickets on matchday ... no probs. No need for membership or registration. Promised to take bride to game tonight, figured low key, tues night. They wont sell me 2 tickets co I am not on system. I live in Leigh for goodness sake. I might be a leeds fan they say. In Leigh? Have address and postcode and all to prove. Ia anyone registered on system? Can you order and me pay. Can I meet you at Roots and collect with you. Am bona fide ... this is crazy!

no. Could try that. Didn't think about it. I guess they will be applying same criteria in the ticket office and not registering new members. Will revert! Is not easy this!

It certainly seems as you may be a Leeds fan based down here, which i haven't a problem with i should point out, if so have you contacted Elland Road to see if the rumour about tickets being available on the gate for visitors is true .. failing that i'd try the pubs around the ground for touts, as i'm sure they'll be a few tickets floating around

Its will not be a 11,500 sellout just turn up and buy your Tickets tonight make sure u arrive 15/20s before K/O

Leeds have a few hundred Tickets left and Southend United will open the W/X blocks in the west if need be

... not a leeds fan. Was Wimbledon fan (as thats where I lived for 20 years) until the concrete city got hold of us. Now just follow football for fun. Thats why I thought this game would be ok for us to go to. We can walk from home, have a pint on the way (glass of vino in her case) and grap chinese on way home. Not cynical are you. Just seems curious that the only other "Stotty1964" on the internet is a member of the Ilkley-More forum. With Ilkley being so close to Leeds, and you signing up today desperate for a ticket, it just comes across as pretty suspicious. When even Google can't find a Torquay Road...
